A parade of sail will enter our harbor during Charleston Harbor Fest 2009, featuring majestic sailing ships from around the world. From the beaches of Sullivan's island to the shores of Patriot's Point and the Charleston Battery, the public will be able to view the immense sails, towering rigs and classic beauty of the tall ships and then experience them throughout the 4 day Charleston Harbor Fest event. The event will compliment the tall ships with loads of land-based attractions including wooden boats, maritime art, pirate camps, live music, family boat-building, Coast guard demos, Children's Village and more.
